I bought a new laptop and LExmark printer with advertised rebates. TO DATE and it has been 7 weeks, I am not even showing up on their website that you go to check. I have called the store twice - the manager hung up on me. From talking to other people in Atlanta - they have never had a good experience with CC.
I intend to attach this message and my credit card receipts and disputes to the Attorney General of Georgia and the FTC as if they do not honor the $200 rebate, then fraud has been committed.
Does anybody know where their home office is? The main complaint center - I want to pursue criminal charges if applicable.
I cannot afford to lose this $200 - I've made $14k in 4 years!!!
And my mother just died - seriously. AND I do not want others to buy something thinking they have a rebate coming. I will dispute on my credit card, but to date, they have not been that cooperative in matters like this. Visa itself is becoming a rip off as well.
THANKs for your support and oh don't forget about Budget rental trucks - they got me 3 years ago - Ripoff had the goods on them, I should have gone to this website BEFORE I bought anything from CIrcuit City.
Oh I also intend to engage the local manager in potential criminal charges if he continues to complicatory in his actions. Put that in your pipe and smoke it buddy..!!
