I purchased an Acer laptop from TigerDirect with a $100 rebate. The rebate was filed and accepted via OnRebate. OnRebate status says that the rebate has been accepted but payment is Pending as of 6/28/06.
I sent an email to OnRebate about 20 days after the Status was designated Pending. They responded with "wait 30 days".
At 30 days I sent another email to OnRebate with no response.
At around 90 days I have sent additional emails to OnRebate and TigerDirect with no response.
I will file shortly with the FTC and state attorney general as well as the BBB. I consider TigerDirect responsible to ensure that its rebate fulfillment center is honest so they are named in this complaint instead of solely OnRebate.
