Do Not Buy From HHGreg. They do not back their products. I bought an Amana Refridgorator about two years ago.
Every since I bought it I have had problems (the same one each time). The water line keeps freezing, causing my family not able to get water out of the dispenser. No is taking care of the problem. I have had three repair men to come to my home.
The first one told me that whenever it freezes to put a blow dryer to the coils to thaw them
The second repair man actually changed out a part and it looked like he knew what he was doing but obvisously not. It froze again.
The third repair man took the coils aloose and thawed them in my sink in a sink full of water.
Now I didn't agree to pay for a refurbished item it was suppose to be brand new. I called HHGreg and they sent me through the run all.
HHGreg refered me to a service department that scheduled all the repairs. I finally got to GE, who handles all the extended warrenty.
Now, personally I don't think that I am askind for much when I say that I want a NEW fridge. I didn't buy a refurbished fridge it was BRAND NEW with a BRAND NEW tag. GE keeps screaming this lemon act to me that is bunch a bull crap.
If anyone reads this and could email me the name, telephone, or email address of HHGreg's CEO. I wold like to send the complaint to that person.
