I've build severl hundred computers in the past but I mostly do software.
Anyway ordered some parts from xtechnology and yes they ripped me off.
First thing is I put my order in on the 14th and a week later they still haven't shipped it, So I call and cancel my order wow the next day I get a email my order has been shipped 2 days later I get another email my order is shipped, at this point I just need these parts so I leave it alone.
17 days later after making my order it arrives I just wish they had canceled it now...
I open the box with the parts and inspect them and notice that the memory is already open that's weird right and check out the memory there's a burn mark on one of the chips so I call Xtechnology, I've dealt with lots of company's in the past you always get a bad part here or there it just happens.
But have always worked it out with the company, so anyway this guy Eugene says it's just not possible it has never happened before and they do not refund anything with damage. I'm like dumbfounded the box was ok in shiping everything else I just want my money back. They can have there burnt memory back I even sent them a pic of the burn mark on the memory card. Within 1 hour of recieveing the order from airborne.
Next step call the credit card company and ask them to look into it and find out they charged an additional 700.00 on my credit card over the invoice amount. There goning to look into it now.
I don't know what to do next hahahaha just write it off as bad luck and report them to the BBB and let my credit card compny handle it.
