I bought a DVD writer from TigerDirect and OnRebate happens to be the rebate processing company. Order number I4104141. It had 2 rebates. One of them required a copy of the invoice. As the purchase was made online so there was no real invoice sent to me. I sent a copy of the oder confirmation that i printed from their website. The rebate was denied and the customer service asked me to send the invoice again. As i was unable to figure out how to find the invoice, i asked the customer service what exactly they want. I again sent what i thought was sufficient and the rebate was again denied and i got the following email.

The following requirements were not met:
Insufficient documentation - No Invoice
A INVOICE WASN'T MAILED IN. A ORDER CONFIRMATION FORM WAS MAILED IN.

The email did not mention any deadline for me to revert back to them. When i called them they said that there is a 30 day deadline to re-send the documents and i missed it so i am done.
I told them that the email did not say any such thing so they said it doesn't matter what the email said.
The customer service who i called the last time... Must have got a reward by not letting me get my rebate. And here i am, with no fault of my own, being denied my 50$.
