I purchased a 19" monitor from E-COST.com expecting to receive an (as promised) $95.00 rebate after 12 weeks. After waiting 16 weeks I took action. I contacted E-COST asked them about the status of my rebate and they told me to contact the manufacturer so I did, only to hear that due to an overwbelming respose the manufacturer uses a third party to handle rebates. I contacted the third party and they told me to contact the manufacturer. After feeling like a ping pong ball for so long I gave up! The only option I have now is to file a complaint with THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS. My suggestion to you is this-do your research before you buy online! Good luck.
