I bought a NIKO LCD TV/Monitor and an emachine refurbished computer from TigerDirect in Naperville, Illinois. Both items had a rebate of $100.00 each.
I filed both rebates ontime (5/9) and never received the $200.00 owed to me. I called onrebate and spoke with a customer service representative around 6/15/06. The representative told me that my rebate had been mailed, but must have gotten lost in the mail. She told me that she would send another check, and I should receive it within 7 business days. A month has come and gone, and no check. I called back today (7/25/06) and was told that their systems are down, so they could not look up any information. I told the representative that I wanted to speak with a manager, and he said that she was at lunch, but would give her my name and phone number to call me back later today. I am still awaiting a phone call.
I have done some research on the net, and have found that there are many, many, many people with similar experiences.
