I purchased a stereo from AOL on the home page specials. It had a $100 rebate, I sent in the original receipt with the packing slip and the information sheet. They mailed to me over the last year 16 letters, each time saying we need the following information, I gave them the information AGAIN AND AGAIN. I put my PO box on the original receipt that was submitted for rebate that they claimed to never received I put my physical address on the paperwork. Amazingly the only correspondence goes to the PO BOX that was sent with the original that they claim to never received. Now 18 months later it needs repaired and they claim I have to have the original and not a copy of the fricking receipt that they are in possession of. Nor do I have a working stereo, I don't have a rebate of $100.00.
Nor do i have aol-i had to close checking account to get them to stop deductions since you can't get through on the phone when you select the menu option to cancel!!!
