I bought a power supply from RadioShack that had a $35 rebate from onrebate. It was purchased during the time I was moving, so it had my old address as the billing address and my new address as the shipping address. I filled out the $35 OnRebate form, submitted it, and it was rejected claiming that the address on the invoice and on the rebate form didn't match.
I called on rebate and finally get a CSR on the line (not an easy thing to do), and explained that the shipping addresses are exactly the same, and he tells me that it has to match the billing address. I ask him how I can update the info on the rebate form to match the billing address, and he tells me I can't update the rebate form, I have to update the invoice, which of course prompted the question of how exactly I'm supposed to update an invoice that RadioShack sent me. The CSR's response was "That's your problem, not ours.".
I then asked to talk to his manager, and he refused, but when I pressed him he said "Ok, hold on", put me on hold, then hung up on me.
They are holding my $35 rebate hostage without allowing me to update the info on the rebate form (which I would argue was filled out properly to begin with).
