All of them promise you a "free" website & show you how to sell products on auction sites and on your own e-income solution site. They say that there is no fee or costs for the Web site, and all you have to do is lease credit card machine for a $69 per month fee. Well the Web site they did give me, no one visits it
Here is what the fee is for: IT IS FOR a 4 YEAR, NON CANCELABLE LEASE through MBF leasing for a credit card terminal! But that id not all, what they also fail to inform you of is that there is a 35 dollar a month processing fee, and some of the other credit card companies charge a monthly fee as well. Add it all up, and you're looking at over $100 per month, even if you do not use the credit card terminal. I was able to drop the American express fix fee; they were real nice about it, WHICH IT DID SAVE ME $5 A MONTH in the extra fees. And I will be trying to get the other fees dropped as well.
Since I have started this, I have spent the 100 a month and I have tried several times with all of the auction houses, not very successfully, What Ester had told me was that with a couple of hours a day you will at least break even, I have tried many times, and spent money on the auction houses but to no prevail, so I did spend the time
I was told that the only way out of this was to buy out the lease, which they told me was over 4 thousand dollars.
So, now I am stuck with a credit card terminal, I will be canceling all the credit card fees that the credit card companies charge me and that will make the terminal useless AND the $69.00 a month was my cost for being slickered. The individuals who push the credit card machines are the modern day bandits, except that it is legal. I do hope that the congress looks into this and stops other fools from being taking to the cleaners.
