Sent defective product to us and did not want to issue refund

My fiance and I had purchased a used E-Mac computer, it costed apprximatly $500. The computer had been been sent out with a promised delivery date. We did not recieve the computer and called to see what the problem was.

Thier customer service department is absolutly horrible, they do not even introduce the fact that they are related to gainsaver at all when calling and trying to reach them on the phone is next to impossible. The only way to reach them is by setting up your an E-mail account on their WEBSITE..

When we finally conatcted them about our "missing" computer, they said that the one they were selling to us tested defective and told us they would upgrade us to the better computer they had for sale. Finally after a couple of weeks waiing for our computer, it arrived.
The box that they sent it to us in was marked wrong which mislead us to belive that it was the wrong one. Ect.

So, we open the box, set it up, try to use it. They ended up sending a computer with numerous problems ($500 worth). When we sent it back, they refused to give us a refund and said that thier was nothing wrong with it. I had an estimate written that proved there was. We finally got a refund, but it was not easy, it was like trying to get blood from a stone. GAINSAVER is a horrible company that tries to get away with selling defective products hoping that their customer will "GIVE IN". I do not recommend this company at all to anyone. They are not very professional at all & are hard to cooperate with.
