Tried to rip me off ripoff abused & mistreated ripoff business from hell CA

A few months ago I tried canceling my free 7.0 trial version, well, the representative asked me why I wanted to cancel and I told him I just got Time Warner Road Runner and that I didn't need AOL anymore. I mean, why pay for two providers. Anyway, he talked me into the "bring your own access" plan for $14.95 because he told me that if I were to cancel my account with AOL that my computer would be susceptible to all kinds of viruses, Trojan Horses, hacker attacks, spamming and etc. So, I stupidly agreed to keep my account.

Now, it's a few months later and I again decided to cancel AOL. I have Time Warner Road Runner so what do I really need with AOL since I hardly use it anyway.

When I called the second time to cancel my account I told the representative that I didn't need AOL anymore and to cancel my account because I have Time Warner Road Runner. The representative recommended that I keep my AOL account and since I'm a Time Warner cable tv customer that he was going to bundle my AOL "bring your own access" account with my Time Warner cable account and then I'd be charged two services for the price of one.

All I had to do was enter keyword "cable install". I agreed to it so I went to enter the keyword "cable install" to bundle my accounts, well, what that representative failed to tell me and what I didn't know was that I'd be ordering and adding AOL's High Speed Broadband to my already existing high speed Road Runner with Time Warner.

I'm like, hello, I have Road Runner what do I need with another High Speed Broadband.

I called Time Warner cable and they told me that they don't have a two for the price of one charging and that I didn't need AOL with Road Runner. She suggested I call AOL back to cancel and make sure I get a confirmation number.

I called AOL back and all they did was transfer me to five different departments, they didn't know what I was talking about, each one telling me something different from the other - which now has me confused, and finally I got disconnected without any resolve. What do I do?

Stay away from these game players.
