I was recently contaced by phone by eresultsinc.com with promises by them to obtain for my web-based company a number of high rankings on search terms relevant to my business.
For financial reasons, I did not do business with them. I really wanted to, as I had called several of their references and they all gave GLOWING reports of eresultsinc's work and service.
Several weeks later, I was contacted by phone by a company called The Web Marketers. They offered a very similar pitch as eresultsinc, but they claimed they were a different company and had no relationship with eresultsinc.
As we had obtained a business line of credit, I could now consider doing business with The Web Marketers. I asked them for references, which they provided.
To my surprise, web marketers' references were almost identical to eresultsinc's references. I even recognized two of the voices that answered the numbers web marketers gave me as very similar to voices I recall having heard from the calls I made with eresultsinc references.
When I questioned the web marketers' rep about these reference similarities, he stated that he knew nothing of it, would check things out and get back to me. I never heard back from him.
A few weeks after this, eresultsinc called me back again to see if I wanted to do business with them. When I told this rep about the web marketers' and their references being similar, he also said he'd check it out and would get back to me. Liek the other guy, I never did hear back from them.
Looks to me like both of these companies are fraudelent and should be avoided at all costs. Do not do business with either of them!
