Pacific Onramp Internet
Doesn't give a dam

I signed up for service with these clowns about 4 years ago when I was living and working in the Honolulu area. Their service was okay at first, but it left a lot to be desired. I left the Islands about 2 1/2 years ago and relocated to California, but these guys were still charging my Visa card (NEVER should have used that dumb thing for it!)

I called their office number (which was listed in the Visa statement) to inform them that I was no longer in Hawaii, and requested the charges be stopped immediately. I was told I would have to fax my request - what a crock! Why in the world couldn't they take care of it over the phone?

Anyway, as luck would have it, the card I used was due to expire soon, and since I have a couple of others, this one was not renewed. I'm still paying it off many months later, and (thankfully) have not seen a charge on the statement from these idiots since the card expired.

I recently saw another post about this sorry-ass company by someone who says they were totally ripped off by these bloodsuckers when they monkeyed around with his credit card info. Whoever you are, I feel really bad for you, but when I read your posting, I couldn't help but think "why am I not surprised?"

If you are currently a customer of these guys:
1. Drop 'em like a hot potato. There's lots of other ISP's out there.
2. If you're paying the bill on your credit card, cancel that card and get another one.

These guys should be forced to pay for their mistakes, even if it means going out of business. Crooked businesses don't deserve to last anyway. That's my 2 cents - C
