Ripoff Didn't cancel membership in the time period as advertised

I reponded to an ad online for a opportunity to make some money with SMC's products. A sales repersentive contacted me by phone. She explained to me how the company worked and wanted me to sign up for $314.95, and there would be fee after 30 days. I wasn't impress then but was told I could cancel before the 30 days were up, so I decided to check it out. I was given a website address and password to get on.in the 30 days I couldn't access the website so I didn't know how it would work. I tried contacting someone for help, never got any help. Received a package in the mail with catalogs, CD and form.

I didn't like what I say on the CD and the products didn't impress me either. So I decided to cancel before the 30 days were up. I called the phone number the girl have given me and when through all the selections of numbers trying to cancel. I got to a selection to select number 5 to cancel, I expected to get a person, but after a few seconds I got what appeared to be a busy signal and then was disconnected. I waited for a day of so to see if I would get a respose from them. Nothing, so I tried calling them. It took a while but I a girl on the phone. I told her what I wanted and she said she would have to transfer me to so guy and he would take care of it. I was transfer to a recorded message the must have gone on for at least 15 minutes. I was expecting to talk to someone after that. The speaker talk fast and with a lot of instructions that I could not possible got or understand on one try. After the message was over I was disconnted. I tried to call the back immediately but could not get anyone on the phone. I emailed several email address I could fine for SMC.

After some time I received an email from some lady say I didn't follow the instruction and didn't cancel in the 30 days. So am not intitled to a refund of $314.95. I see how they work now they make it so very hard to get anyone on the phone to talk to so a person runs out of time and then they claim the person was not prompted in there request.
