I called the number for Health care credit union assoc. As it was being announced on TV. When the guy told me more and more about the insurance it sounded so good so I took a chance. When I received the info in the mail it was not as good as I thought it to be but I got busy with work and forgot to cancel it in the first 30 days, but I got a call when I didn't have enough in my bank account to pay a payment and then got a call telling me it would be canceled if not paid by a certain date, but it was not, so I called to cancel it but had to leave a message because as always it was busy (probably people canceling).
But as always no one called back so I called again and got to talk to a real person and asked to cancel it and it took forever to go through the whole process just to have them tell me to email to there cancel department. After it was canceled I found 2 payments being taken out so I called back to find out why. I was told after talking to several people on several different days that the last one was a error on there part and would be put back into my account by the 20th of the next month, but when I didn't receive it I called again to get a different date which was on the 27th so I waited till the end of that month and when I didn't receive it I called again to find out that I wouldn't get it and that it was applied to the month I didn't have enough in the account.
I told this person about all I have been through and how several people lied to me and I wanted my money back, she said they were within there right to keep the money. When I payed a payment it was for the following month coverage so when they took it out the second time it was in fact for the following months coverage but I was told it was canceled the first of that month.
I just want to end this by saying that this is all true and someone needs to stop these type of company from lying to people and ripping them off!!!
