Rebate ripoff

I purchased a dlink router package for my pc. They received the $50.00 rebate submission form mar 25 certified mail.

I contacted them in may to follow up on my $50.00 rebate. They claim they sent it to me and i cashed it and the check has cleared their bank on may 4th. They gave me a check number which i used to search my bank and no record of it ever being cashed there.

I contacted them to get a copy of the check so i could follow up as to who and where it was cashed. Months pass.
I contact them again and they say they cannot get the copy without my written request. I mail it to them. Months pass.

I call them again and they say they never received it. They give me a fax number to send the copy request to and i fax it to them. Months pass.

I call them in january and the phone person can't believe all the problems i have had and she assures me she will email it to some supervisor and get this settled finally.

I call them in february to see whats up and get transfered to a supervisor who says "too much time has passed" and the offer is closed and he won't do anything for me. Nice!
