This is referrencing a complaint against Capital Business Group. I purchased a home business opportunity with Prescription Profits while on the telephone with Mr. Wes Ferguson. Only to find out that the service I had paid for would never be rendered.
In October I bought into a program that was presented in a professional fashion by Mr. Ferguson, in which, they had guaranteed 200,000 visits to a website that they set up, hosted, and designed. After a few months there were NO visits and when I called to get my money back, Mr. Ferguson said" I cannot refund your money to you". They did not give total Detailed Disclosure nor was there a signed contract or agreement with Prescription Profits or Capital Business Group. I was not made aware of a pharmacy affiliate group that was to manage and track the website for Capital Business Group.
When I had been on the phone with Mr. Ferguson, he explained to me that their company was to handle all aspects of the business PERIOD. There was no mention of a pharmacy affiliate program to me by Mr. Ferguson or even later on by Mr. Bill Todd.
I have contacted the FTC, BBB, and the Arizona Attorney General all of which have been no help. According to the Federal Trade Commissions' Regulations on Disclosure Requirements, there are certain business practices and laws that a company must follow. However, these laws do not apply to Capital Business Group. They have been making up their own rules to suit their company, and getting away with it. They did not identify company information, business experience, litigation history, bankruptcy history, affiliated persons required to business with, termination or cancellation of the business opportunity. FTC Regulations state-Detailed Disclosure within 10 business days and a signed contract.
As far as this pharmacy affiliate company goes, I have placed several calls and the same conclusion appears, IntegraRX has no record or data in their system of my name or website. I am not listed in their computers for 2004 or 2005 at all.
I had no idea that this would turn into a nghtmare with Capital Business Group. If I had known ahead of time that this was an affiliate program, I would not have joined. If I had known their reputation I would not have joined.
The total charge for all of this experience is $10,060.80. There is enough information to go on to say that Capital Business Group uses unfair methods and deceptive practices or acts in the conduct of any commerce which affects consumers (Fair Credit Billing Act, September of 1997).
