I was reading through a search engine and came across a report from Kali Ricks... And I will be amazed same darn thing happened to me!!!
In Nov. Of 2001 I received a free trail offer from AOL used this and cancelled will enough in advance and made sure I received a confirmation number, because this was not the first time to cancel with AOL and they STILL charge your account. Same thing happened to my fiancee too!!! Well in March I as well was overdrawn $125.00 dollars!!! Immediatelty I called AOL and after a long arguementive conversation they did remimbure me $95.60 but not my overdrawn fees of $44.00... Since March 29 I have been writing directly to the CEO (Steve Case) concerning this matter but never have received a response from him. I did receive a response from the so called billing dept and they e-mailed me stating that I need to contact them... No I don't think so, this is where it started from
To this day I am still writing Steve Case. But to no avail. So who owes me this money that I am out and as well as losing face with my bank
How can a free trail offer end up costing me 139.99?? After reading what happened to Kali Ricks there should be a class action law suit on this
I have been in contact with a lawyer and I will let you know what occurs.
