I have used Etrust Antivirus since it was originally released as InnoculateIT and have referred many people to Etrust when they asked me for an antivirus recommendation but I have now HAD ENOUGH.
Recently I responded to an email which offered a trial of PC Pitstop Optimise, a Windows cleanup and optimise program. After the trial I wanted to subscribe and clicked on the button in order to do so. After completing the whole process I found I had subscribed to eTrust PestPatrol instead and still had a demo version of PC Pitstop.
Repeated support enquiries have resulted in zero support as is the case throughout history with this company. They just don't respond to requests for support PERIOD.
Quite frankly it is completely ILLEGAL to promote one product and then supply another. Considering this and the zero support delivered by CA and eTrust I will actively discourage the use of their products from now and will be switching mine to other suppliers once they have run out.
