I bought a Concord Digital Camera with a $30.00 rebate offered to make sale. Rebate forms to be povided on TigerDirect website. I tried to apply but places asked for order number or serial number, neither or both was acccepted. When I tried to check status, the site indicated all was completed and all needed was submission of my rebate form. There was a link to print that form, but each time I clicked it, I got an error message and the screen went blank. I called TigerDirect, they put me on hold for 20 minutes, I called onrebate Inc. They also put me on hold for 20 minutes.
I E-mailed TigerDirect, from their site, and received an answer from onrebate telling me all was done except I had to submit the form, which they had not provided or gave me a way to get.
I replied to onrebate E_mail, and told them, and was going to send a copy to tigerdirect, but they do not have an E-Mail address listed anywhere. Even Google does not have an e-mail address for them.
They also charge $3.50 to have the check mailed within 5 to 8 days, or it will take 10 weeks. But if they are not going to send it anyway, I suppose it does not matter.
I have all the things they indicated I would need, UPC code, sales receipt, and completed the Electronic listing for the rebate. My advise, if you shake hands with these people, count your fingers, if and when you get your and back. There sales help was terrible in the store, and the followup is not much better.
Also the Guarantee by tigerdirect is nailed to the floor also. They require you to provide them with all the things that you send to onrebate, then wait 10 weeks. Impossible!
