I am disgusted with A.O.L. I tried to go to a new telephone and internet service Sept. I could not get disconnected from either of these companies, and still think they are planning on sending me bills. What does it take to get disconnected from these types of services in this country? I pulled up A.O.L. On my internet in NOv to see if they'd disconnected me. A screen
popped up that said I owed $23. I figured it could have been for the entire month of September, so I hit the $23 screen, which took me to billing. I gave my Bank Debit Card information to A.O.L. To take $23. When my bank statement came in the first week of Dec A.O.L. Had just helped themselves - and I was debited 3 times! I do not want their service! What I want is - disconnected! I am on a different service - why would I want 2 of them? I barely use my home computer. No matter how I contact them, no one listens - they think you will give up and let them continue to bill you! I won't! If I have to complain to the FCC or get an attorney, I will. The exact same thing has happened with M.C.I., I am sick of how these industries get by with ripping off the consumer. I can not tell you how many credit
reports I see-as a part of my job, working with the public, - which reflect these same companies adding extravagent collection charges on unknowing consumer credit reports. The client tells me they have also tried unsuccessfully to disconnect from them!

This time it happened to me first-hand!
