I signed up for Sprint DSL service in February. Since I signed up over the internet I was promised 3 things.

# 1, would get 1st month internet service free, which I got.

# 2, $ 50 rebate, which I got

# 3, a gift for signing up, choices were a $ 50 MasterCard Debit Card, a scanner and a few other items. Hard to remember all the choices now, it has been almost 10 months since I signed up. Anyhow, signed up to receive the $ 50 Debit card and was told that once the account was verified as being activated it would take approxmately 8 to 10 weeks to receive my reward.

This was February, when July rolled around I called Sprint Customer Service and was told the Reward was never properly entered into the syatem and they would take care of it for me. I was told it would take about 30 days to receive my reward.

Ok, Labor Day 2005 rolls around and nothing yet, So I call Sprint again. This time person says they will enter it into the sustem and put a rush on it. I should receive it in 7 to 10 business days.

Nothing yet... So I again call the famous Sprint Customer Service to see what the problem is. This time I get a snotty guy that says, he will enter it into the system again and put a rush on it. I told him I heard that story before and I think it made him a little mad. Guess he never learned the customer is always right and to check your attiude at the door.

Appeared the using customer service over the phone is getting me nowhere. So I emailed them in November, first I got an email that said they had to investigate and and I should contact them in 10 days. I waited, contacted them and then got another email saying they had not found out anything yet.

Then on November 21 I received the following email from sprint:

Dear %: Rebate ID: 71123813

Thank you for your inquiry regarding your Visa gift card reward from Sprint High Speed Internet. Please be advised that the reward you will receive is the $50.00 MasterCard Virtual Debit. Your request for your reward has been validated and is being processed. Please allow 15 business days for your reward to be received.

Nothing ever came, and the last time I emailed them to see what is going on I receive this email numerous times:

Dear %: Rebate ID: 71123813

Thank you for the inquiry regarding your Sprint High Speed Internet rebate. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this situation may have caused you. Your record was forwarded to the appropriate team for your reward to be mailed. Please allow 15 business days to receive your reward.

The last email I received was dated 12/13
And I signed up for the gift 2/18 and was told 8 to 10 weeks then.

I would just like to know if anyone at Sprint has any idea what is going on? I know for sure the people in Customer Service don't for sure.

Nothing like treating a customer like a mushroom, you know keep em in the dark and feed them crap all the time. Guess that way they will just go away.
