Fraudulent billing Ripoff

My M/C was originally charged $4.87 on 05/22/05 for a transaction which I did not authorize or participate in.

My M/C was subsequently charged $29.95 on 06/21/05,07/19/05,08/24/05 & 09/24/05.

Each time I received my credit card statement, I requested a refund for the fraudulent charges.

Last month, my credit card company reversed the refunds because they were recurring transactions. They would not honor the refunds without a subscription cancelation.

I phoned SurplusAlert to find out what the alleged subscription pertained to. The Customer Service Rep asked me for my credit card number to verify my account! I refused. I gave her my e-mail address... Which they do not have on file! Therefore, I was unable to cancel any alleged subscription. But was told by Heidi that a full refund in the amount of $124.67 would be issued.

Since that phone call, my credit card has not been fraudulently charged.

No refund has yet been issued thru the company.

I currently have claims filed against this company with my credit card company, the IFCC (Internet Fraud Complaint Center) and the Dept of Commerce Division of Consumer Protection in the State of Utah (which was referred by the IFCC).
