No support, No refund when software found incompatible. Outright lies! Internet

On November 2nd I was reading the reviews regarding DVD copying software and after having read the "stellular" reports regarding LG Software Innovation's 1 Click DVD Copy, I decided to purchase a copy and try it for my self. At sixty years of age and having over thirty years experience in computers, I had always prided myself on being somewhat of an expert when it came to judging different items regarding computer technology.

Apparantly, I have been "sucked in" by these guys. I lost $59.00 and have nothing to show for it.

First off, the software was incompatible with my computer and after repeated attempts to make it work, the machine finally crashed. I notified LG's support staff and the only answer I recieved was to try re-downloading and re-installing the software again... Something I had already attempeted to do before contacting them in the first place.

To make a long story short, everything LG's support people (whom, I think are in India due to the spelling of their names) reccommend that I try, I had tried long before they suggested it to me. So this was becoming a sort of catch up game. I finally informed them that due to the fact that the software was useless in my machine, I was disposing of it and I was expecting a refund. They informed me that they would not refund my money. This is when the problems started.

I went so far as to aquire the software once again and this time, I purchased the $19.00 DVD43 add on that they claim is free. So here is where the fun really began! Now, not only did the 1Click DVD Copy not work, the DVD43 didn't either! AM I stupid or what? I haven't requested a refund for the DVD43 (produced by another company) because I feel that I should have learned something after the LG innovations fiasco. LG has misrepresented their product. It was not compatible with my computer, I tried my best to make it work, I consulted with their "support" personnel if that's what you want to call them, and it still wouldn't work.

I disposed of the software honestly and I feel that the least that they could do is have the integrity to return my money. I have informed them that if I do not recieve a refund that I will start action that will eventually result in their being shut down.

I know or a fact that they engage in illegal activity in so far as the promotion of the copying of copyrighted DVD's and I am prepared to take this evidence to the proper authorities. They do not realize it, but they are starting a fight that they are not going to forget.
