I'll keep this simple.
I was a regular customer of buy.com.
My last shipped order was short one item. No big deal I used their online form to receive credit. My next order was then sent to the warehouse where it remained for two weeks. They also seem to have forgotten about the credit.
When I contacted them they gave me all sorts of back talk and canned responses. One email said the item was not in stock and it takes 24hrs to update their website so I must have placed the order within the 24hr window.
When I checked their site the item was indeed still in stock. I asked them about that and was told that the item was in stock but my shipment could not be filled for "some reason".
I quickly realized that I wasn't getting anywhere and that something was strange about their canned responses so I did some research...
It turns out that buy.com uses vcustomer.com a company located in India to handle their customer service needs. I am currently contacting this company directly.
Here is their contact information should you have problems with them. The following was determined by looking at their email header and then by doing a whois on their IP.
