I had a customer on eBay pay me through PayPal in August of 2001. I have tried repeatedly to appease the powers at PayPal, to no avail. They have held my money for seven months now. Do they have enough interest from it?
I will NOT give them my SS number or send them a copy of my driver's license, which can be used to obtain my SS number. I have given them everything else they asked for, maybe not when they asked, but eventually. According to my lawyer, I do not have to give them any more information that is privileged.
I do not have a credit card, as I had to declare bankruptcy 5 years ago because of a business failure. I do have a debit card that I use sparingly. I am 72 years old and exist on SS, with no other income except from eBay.
I have reached them by landline twice. Once, I got a person who had difficulty speaking English. No, I am not hard of hearing or mentally disabled. The other time, I was on hold for a lengthy time and gave up. Is there any way to reach a human being at PayPal? Thank you.
