This site seems to be another place to post your resume, geared toward the entertainment industry. I looked at the site, read about the company, and kept running into the long, comprehensive entry form. No fees were apparent, so I filled out the form. I am looking for work, in this industry, I figured, here's another place to be seen.
Wrong. After taking the time (something of an hour) to carefully fill out this web form, with all manner of personal information, the very next page THEN annnounces that my resume will not be seen by anyone, unless I fork over $10 a month, or $60 for a year.
I am outraged. This is an unscrupulous practice. It is very poor etiquette at best, and at worst, it is information theft. I was expecting SOMETHING, in return for giving my life fricking history to these people, like, I think I was expecting them to POST my resume.
You all tell me, am I just a fool (I mean, tell me again), or should I have a right to expect better treatment than this? I hope they feel good about themselves, taking advantage of peoples inability to see whats behind "door number two, " to turn a phrase.
