Sowega.net offers dial up internet. Sowega.net is a subsidiary of Citizens Telephone Co.inc.in Leslie, Ga. Citizens Telephone offers DSL Internet.
In order to apply for dial up internet service you must have phone service with Citizens, which is fine - but the rip off come when you want to apply for DSL Internet. You must first have phone service with Citizens, you must continue paying for dial up and DSl is expensive.
So they make you pay dial up ($18.95 / month) if you want DSl. And for those who dont know, if you have DSL, you never even want to think about dial up again! So Sowega is making $18.95 per month off all the customers that have DSL through Citizens..
What a Ripp - off...
