I can echo the words of the other people who have had the misfortune of using ServiceMagic. My leads weren't a complete dead end but they weren't great either. At least I wasn't just relying on their lead like their ridiculous rebuttales imply! The big problem I had with them was the billing. I was set up to have it taken out of my credit card automatically. One month however it didn't work and you would have though I stole a million dollars from them not the $36.00 that I owed them. After promising to send them a check, they called me every day threatening me.
When I pointed out to them that all the phone calls they were making would probably cost more than the $36 they got really mad and said I was "just a crook trying to get away without paying". It took a few days for them to receive of course because they are in Colorado and I'm in New Jersey; DUH! That was 3 years ago. Now they are actually calling me lately trying to get me to join again!!?? Is this company serious or do they just enjoy yanking us around. Telling the salespeople this story of course just "falls on deaf ears"! I think they must be completly insane!!!
