My husband contacted the serice online detective.com on behalf of findind lost family members that he has lost contact with it was suppose to be a one time payment of 29.95 via our checking account from our debit card when 1 month went by and he hand't heard a word from them he assumed that they had no info and stopped exploring there account at that time we both are very busy in our jobs and i take care of the checking account and very rarely balance but maybe twice a year since i'm very accurate about my ledgers.
When in feb i desised to balance and found that there was over $140.00 dollars missing so i looked at my statements and there was 29.95 every month since sept and a iibill company that i could look up the reason for the billings and when i went to there site i found online detective.com on all my statements were they had taken a total of 179.00 dollars from our account but they were only autherised for 29.95 so they illegely took over 149.00 from our account i have notified them and with 3 e-mails from them they still have not responed to my acusations so i wanted others to be aware of this online service so they don't get caught up in a bad company like we did.
