Decieving

Here is my on going attempt at trying to get my credit back from AOL... I was lied to, tricked, and shuffled around... The email below says it all... At the very most... Marc should've changed my billing to the $17.95 he had promised at the time if the computer checkup worked... It didn't I emailed him and asked that the cancel stay as it is... I have been billed every month for $28.95... I have tried to get it credited... They would credit my account after my second attempt at cancelling. If I agreed to stay for three more months... Lolol. They can credit if I stay, but can't even though they said they were going to two months earlier.

What in the heck kind of company are they... They don't deserve to have the wonderful word "America" in the name... Please read on...

I am also writing for your help. After trying to cancel Aol for a second time and trying to explain to the other people that I had called to cancel, that you said to try the keyword: computer checkup. You also had said you were crediting my account and lowering the rate to $17.95 if the compter checkup worked. You gave me your email address and after I tried the steps you gave me I sent you an email letting you know it didn't work, and to please cancel as originally requested. I thanked you for your help.

You never cancelled, credited or reduced any rate. You only put in the message box that you "saved" a cancel. I hope you can help me now. I cannot afford the charges on my bill that should not be there in the first place. I feel very tricked by this situation and would like to hear a response back form you. I saved all my notes. I only wish I had had them when I was asking the other gentleman to credit and cancel the way you had said you were going to do, I have them now. I found them... I do hope to hear back from you. I will also be forwarding this to my work email so I can contact others as well. We spoke on November 2... You were so nice and pleasant on the phone.

Please be honest and fix this situation... Is your "save" more important than doing the right thing like was stated? Is your "save" more important than taking over $ dollars from a single mother who works for a living just like you?

Thank you for your honesty and help.
