Ifriends.com has been added to the list of the ever on going online scams. I joined their affiliate program; I have a ton of experience in affiliate marketing, so I know not to send all my traffic to one site.
Once I have produced my necessary sales (insert their terms here) I am supossed to be sent a check in a week. People who are reading this please take notice that 50% of affiliate programs are scams. So never spend advertising dollars on a new affiliAte program until you have it in your hands, and it clears the bank.
I friends owes me a measily 120.00 (as I said start out slow with new affiiliate programs.
Did they pay me. Nope. When I emailed them asking my check, they shut down my account. Yet I was not aware of this anmd was still pointing some traffic to them. You'd think they would notify you regarding canceling your account. I have heard nothing, and have no other means of recovery than small claims. I've sued 2 companies in small claims, one company did show up, they lost, and another co nevers showed up so I got a default judgement, but the company went belly up, just as any deceitful and outgrageous lies they tell. I have reported them to the District attorney this time, because it is no value to me to get 120.00 bucks.
They have committed, fraud, breach of contract, and many more causes of actions. The D.A. Said she had been getting more and more complaints about ifriends, and now she thinks it is the right time to shut them down with the FTC's help. Bye Bye I friends, I hope every last one you spend at least two years in jail. Yes, that does mean employees if Ifriends, their models, all face criminal charges because you should have known they are a fraudulous company. Employees: Get out now, that will show the D.A. You got out for the right reason, and you'll just get a slap on the wrist. Those stay, must bear the risk of at least 2 years in jail.
