First i am bent out of shape from soyo, not tiger direct. For a $50 rebate that i never received. I was taken by western digital for $80 so i decided to use registered mail, only to be taken by soyo anyway.
I purchased a computer from tiger direct. Sent soyo rebate by registered mail, postal service record shows it as being received. I went to web site to check rebate at http://www.verifyrebate.com
Shows as non-existent. Sent an email to [email protected] with no response from them. [email protected] is for questions.
I assumed i would get an answer.
Rebate sent in mail sept. 7 (stamp is on registered receipt), for rebate offer ending aug. 31. Which stated offer must be postmarked by sept. 30.
Sent an e-mail to tiger direct after they sent one to me about some special deal. I explained to them i could no longer purchase products from them due to the rebate problem, and that they should consider dropping their soyo product line before they lose the majority of their customers. I know they didn't do it but somehow i feel if they do nothing, it means they are siding with soyo.
I have thought about sending soyo a hundred e-mails a day just to make sure they get it, but deceided against it since, somebody else probably already did, the reason why they didn't respond to mine. Its buried somehow in all those nasty repsonses from people, so many they couldn't deal with so they went oops! And deleted them all. Truly i think their own employees are pocketing the money.
Who knows. I am sure it is a loss but maybe this will help to build a lawsuit
