Several of our members are published writers, columnist and have been in the writing business for some time and some own their own publishing companies. Todays-woman.net provides accurate information.
Devrie Paradowsk (Paris) and his wife Jeff Paris own Poetryscams.com and literaryescape.com.
Jeff Paris markets several types of "businesses" Jeff Paris owns poetryscams.com, literaryescape.com and a few others and he has even tried his hand at programming from open source scripts he has Ripped off from the net from sites sorceforge.net.
On several programming sites there are warnings that warn webmasters not to pay him for his scripts as they are open source and the website in itself poetryscams.com is actually a scam and a ploy to get poets to pay $ 39 to join his writing community literacy escape. Jeff Paris is not a writer and has no knowledge in the writing industry.
He lists business on his site as scams, or run by immortal webmasters or fraudulent business if you don't provide a link to him or tick him off. He is a very unstable man.
He then sends abusing emails etc, I have an entire inbox full.
I also have logged ips where he used my feedback form to send childish emails and can provide them into any legal representation with full header.
I would suggest everyone, to avoid at all costs both of these websites owned by Jeff Paris.
He also has several other sites own under his domain name. They are much like poetry.com.
Consider yourself warned and don't fall under the same ploy I did.
At one time I thought poetryscams.com was on the up and up.
There are many honest scam sites out there warning writers about the real scams to look out for.
