Poor customer service - Internet Service

I called AT&T over 2 weeks ago to order a home phone, internet, cable package deal. I was given a very good deal, or so I thought. I was told by the representative Sean, from the San Diego office, that someone would be out ot the aprtment on Friday, of the following week to install the phone service and the TV service. He aslo mentioned that I would need to be home for this install.

So, the following week I have taken the day off from work and am waiting for the install to occur. My appointment time was from 12 noon to 4pm. I decided to call and confirm the appointment. AT&T representative, Lacy, from the San Diego office confirmed the appointment time. At 4:30 pm, I called back and AT&T said the phone service was already installed and they had no record of a TV order. I gave them all the informatin that I had received from Sean as well as the confirmation of the charge to my card. Not to mentioned I received 7 mailings from AT&T thanking me for all the orders. No one could find an order. I spent the next 2 days on the phone with AT&T trying to get them to make this right. I finally got a Supervisor who offered me $25 credit for the inconveinece. I missed an entire day of work and was disconnected more than 8 times and the best you can do is $25.00. No thank you. I asked the Supervisor to cancel the order for Internet and Phone. I forgot to have them send me a return shipping label, so I called back today. The original order was never canceled. So I again talked to anbother Supervisor, Linda in the Orders department, who was mysteriously able to find teh orders and claimed to cancel them. We will see if this happend or no. AT&T has the worst customer service every. I am not sure how it is they were ranked #1 in customer service. I have tried to contact their Consumer Relations Department with no success. I have a mobile phone with them and I have been a customer of their for the last 20 years. As soon as my contract is over for this cell phone, I will be canceling the account and going elsewhere. They obviously dont care about the level of service their customers are receving so i dont care about them!!!
