Waiting for a business line install, Verizon no called, no showed two different times, they set the appointment

About two weeks ago, i called Verizon to set up an install for two lines of service at a uilding site for our company. At this time i was informed that i would have to wait at least 48 hours for the address to be set up in their system before an order could be placed for new service and that someone would contact me and let me know when it was done. I never received a call to inform me that the address had been built in the system i finally called in after 72 hours and was allowed to place the order. After an hour of being on the phone the second time i placed the order for the install and was given a date of 3/15/10. A week out and also Verizon would only give a time of between 8-5. Quite a time span. On 3/15/10 our superintendent waited on site until 5:30pm, no Verizon. The technician didn't show up or call. On 3/16/10 i called first thing in the A.M. Only to be told "oh we show that he couldn't make it yestardya but you are on the schedule for 5:00pm today". While this did not please me, i accepted that the tech would be out at 5:00pm on 3/16/10 and also placed a complaint to the dispatch center. This mornign (3/17/10) i get to work and informed that the technician never showed up or called on 3/16/10. I called verizon, once again i got the run around, i see where he didn't show up the operator told me, but your ticket is second on his schedule for today (3/17/10-2 days after he no showed, no called the appointment Verizon set and a week and a half after the initial call to Verizon). So to make a long story short Verizon didn't care about the customer once again, this isn't residental and business depends on the lines being installed, might i add it is a city job for the City of Williamsburg. Also that we have 9 lines with Verizon just i our office and 21 cell lines, not to mention various lines at other locations. So now i sit waiting for a supervisor to call me and a technician to show up at the job site for another day. I just can't believe nobody bothers to call where is the customer service, if i did this at my job, i would be fired. May i also mention that the exact same thing happened when we ordered service for another location about 8 months ago. Once we got the lines out at that location they didn't even work and we had to have the tech come out 2 more times. So no this is not an isolted incident as verizon likes to claim. They need to take responsibility for their poor service and poor customer service, if there is too much work then set the tech appointments further out the first time don't no call, no show. We are trying to set a schedule around the install, work can not begin on this site until the lines are installed per the city. Hey Verizon get a clue, if there was another phone company to use in the area we sure wouldn't be using Verizon.
