What a ripoff, tried it, never activated or used it, they automatically renewed it, charged it, I cancelled it, them they activated it and I'm paying for it... Buyer beware, don't try it!!!

I saw a charge on my credit card from e-diets for $64.74 on my last credit card bill.

I joined their trial program in the summer thinking they were reputable. I never used their program and just let it go and they automatically renew me.

I called and inquired about this and they say they will cancel me and say they will credit my card back $49.79, fine as long as this program is cancelled.

I received these e-mails in this order

1) Your eDiets.com membership has been activated with a current term date of 01/22/05. (WHAT A RIPOFF, IT WAS NEVER ACTIVATED, THEY RENEWED IT AND CHARGED ME FOR IT)

2) Per your request, your eDiets.com membership will expire on its term date of 01/22/05. IMPORTANT: if you feel that you have received this message in error, please contact our Member Services Department at 1.800.265.6170.

I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor and I got Diane... I asked about the e-mails and said your charging me for what was never activated... She said we renew automatically as is the terms when you signed up. I told them that's bad business and they'll hear about it.

I got a third e-mail after hanging up the phone.

We have received your request to cancel your eDiets.com membership. Please accept this email as confirmation that your membership has been discontinued effective immediately.

BUYER BEWARE OF E-DIET.com they will rip you off even if your program is never activated!!! Don't use them STAY HEALTHY!!!
