My wife placed an order on-line at Gateway website and received call from Paradigm informing my wife that we had been approved for a new Gateway Computer. This was on November 11.
The representative did not fully disclosed that the down payment was not refundable. My wife approved $88.80 of the initial $384.80 downpayment to be withdrawn from our bank account not knowing it was not refundable.
After receiving the paperwork from Paradigm I noticed the price of the computer Model 3250S was $1,783. I priced this computer at the Gateway website and it is only $649 for it on this site. So my wife called and spoke to Andrea Morris at Paradigm and requested our $88.80 be refunded since Paradign did not disclosed this on the phone. Ms Morris was hateful and stated we would not get a refund.
On November 22 Gateway took $299 from us as the balance of the downpayment illegally. I am filing a complaint with the WV Attorney General Office of Consumer Protection against them.
Gateway is fuly involved with different fincancial places and doing this to others as can be seen on this Rip Off web site. I checked it too late to prevent being the next victim of Gateway.
