After signing up for a half price trial for 3 months and then canceling the subscription online at the end of the trial Boingo still charged me the full priced monthly fee for over half a year. When I caught this error and brought it to their attention, they were able to resolve the issue after sitting on hold for 30 minutes and making my way through their automated phone routing. Apparently, my cancelation was in their system but 'technical difficulties' and 'complications' prevented billing from being stopped.
I do not recommend Boingo to anyone considering buying their subscription service. I would strongly advise never giving your card to this company, and if you do, use credit (not debit) and track the charges very closely through your bank. Finally, all customers should probably screenshot the cancelation after ending this lousy service.
