I've been a loyal customer of McAfee for years. Have always steered friends to them, but after experiencing the troubles I've had with them over the past few days, I'll never use them again. Since my renewals are only about a month old, I'm trying to get my money back.
Basically, I know the problem but trying to explain it to them on their free "chat" system is infuriating. No sooner do I get connected to an agent, then I was cut-off by their network. I never got to explain my problem to anyone in detail, yet they have three "e-tickets" open on me. They had the nerve to tell me I couldn't open any more when these are all for the same unresolved problem. I've tried to "chat" with them about thirty times in the last two days and have gotten nowhere. To talk to someone live would cost me $39.00, which is just about what I paid for their damned Virus Scan. Why should I trust them with my anti-virus protection when they can't get their act together when it comes to something as simple as a "chat?"
