Watershed Drug Treatment Facility
The watershed they will not feed your child and treat them like criminals

It has come down to this. I contacted the watershed and spoke with david salamon, director of quality. He gave me the standard company line that they are an upstanding company with quality employees and would never allow something like this to happen. I offered to sit down with them and discuss the issues. They had no interest and invited me to obtain an attorney if i was not happy. I intend on doing just that.in attempting to resolve this i was treated rudely and disrespectfully. I am a well educated professional, a retired army officer and a very reasonable person. I have absolutely nothing to gain or lose by fabricating a story.

I will tell you that when i picked my son up at the facility in lake worth i was shocked to see what appeared to be a pow camp right out of an old ww2 movie. The only thing missing was barbed wire. I understand addicted individuals are capable of every imaginable scam to getout of treatment and use again. However, the watershed never billed itself as a clone of the church of scientology. Dozens of employees follow patients around, inside the fenced in compound, as if they were in prison. Anyway, enough.

To my attorney

I have an issue I need an attorney for. It has to do with my son's mistreatment at a local drug rehab facility named the Watershed. I have tried to resolve this with them but am getting nowhere. He was not fed for several days, was threatened and abused. As a result he has left treatment and is now in danger of using opiod narcotics again. My insurance company is paying the Watershed thousands and thousands of dollars for this treatment.

Is there an attorney that could help us. I wanted a face to face meeting to discuss the issues and I wanted them to take him back but not to have him interact with the person that abused him. I cannot get him into any other facility since we only get so many days a year for this treatment. They failed him and do not deserve to get paid. I contacted the insurance company but we have to write a letter and so on and so forth. It would be better if I had an attorney help me on both counts.

Do you know of an attorney that I could retain. My objective in contacting them was to have a sitdown with executives from the watershed, air our complaints and have them treat him for the addicition that they billed our insurance company for. They were only interested in making excuses and not addressing our concerns.

Hopefully you know of a qualified attorney that could assist us in obtaining a satisfactory resolution to this unfortunate situation.

Thanks Lou
