I had an account with Care Credit to get some dental work done. Several months afterwards my husband lost his job. I called and explained that I was unable to make the 250.00 monthly payments and was told that I could be put on a hardship plan for 6 months. My payments would be 110.00, the account would be closed and no interest would be charged. Wonderful, except even though these payments are deducted monthly from my checking account I still get tons of calls a week from these people. THe first few hundred times I patiently explained that I was on the hardship plan and that payments were being automatically deducted from my checking account. The caller would apologize and tell me they were going to note my account but then the next day I got more calls. I finally have told them not to contact me by phone any longer and any correspondence needed to be done through US Mail. It is freaking ridiculous and you can't understand a word they say. Please, please don't get mixed up with these people!
