I also was ripped off by this company. I was in a bad situation where I almost lost my home. We needed money right away. Normally, I wouldn't sign up for a check like this but I had to thank of my family. I was trying to get rid of my credit cards. Everything was going good for quite some time and then I fell behind again. This company does not like to work with consumers like most companies. Most companies would report you to the Credit Bureau. I am a very responsible consumer, I was trying to pay them something every month until I was able to make the full monthly payments. They did not work with me at all. One time someone told me that if I made a certain payment, I could be placed on hardship. Once I was on hardship, I could make smaller payments. But, no they did not tell me the complete truth. They wanted me to pay them $500 in order to be considered to be put on hardship. (If I had $500 to give them than I wouldn't be in a hardship situation). I still continued to give them some money each month. Eventually, one of their employess stated that I was wasting my time giving them the small payments that I was giving them. So, I left it alone. Later, my account was turned over to deliquent accounts and I tried to work with them and it didn't work. Next, they transferred my account to their attorney, who stated that he would try to make some kind of agreement with me if I faxed him the documentation. After I faxed him the documentation he never called me back. After several phone calls to him, I finally gave up calling him. Guess what happened a few months later, I got served with a summons to appear in court because I am being sued. I am very upset with this company. I've tried to work with them but this company operates as a scam artist and I wish I was never involved with them at all. I feel violated and taken advantage of, especially since my interest rate was 25%. This is ridiculous. If you have any ideas that could help me, please let me know. I've been through a lot with this company.
