I don't even know where to start... That's how bad Dr Dando is when caring for his patients... The office is cramped and dirty and the staff even reprimand Dr. Dando in front of clients (all while rolling their eyes).
I went to Dr. Dando the first time for Botox injections around 9/10 and noticed he was acting a bit strange... Like he was on uppers or something. That and he runny nose and frequent trips to the bathroom kind of sealed that conclusion. Well, the Botox lasted abt 3 months and I was ok with that (I'm 30).
On my next visit i decided to get the Botox and also get my lips enhanced with Restalyne. Well... Dr Dando promised the Restalyne would last 9months to 1year. I got lumpy uneven lips and they were so sore and swollen. I could not sleep that night.
I got home and did a bit of research. The Restalyne comes pre-packged in syringes from the manufacture. The soloution injected in my lips was DRAWN UP OUT OF A VIAL! Restalyne is NOT EVER made this way.By reading many boards, this sounds like a textbook case of a fake injectable.
Well 3 weeks pass and I had no filler left in my lips. None. I start doing a bit more research on Dr. Dando and find out he's on probation with the state medical board, he hs restraining orders on him from all of his family members for domestic abuse and I cant even count how many lawsuits an malpractice suits, including ones where he and his staff stole money from patients. Well, dumb me, I go back again.
This time I went as a walk in so I wouldn't get the run around. He agrees there is no filler and says it must have been a "bad batch"??!! Really, an FDA approved injectable comes in bad batches? I dont think so! He injects me again and same thing... 3 weeks, no lips.
I email him and he says he will talk to the makers of Restalyne and get back to me. Never heard a thing. I also think it's weird in his unkept treating room he has Restalyne and Perlane just scattered haphazardly on a shelf! So unsanitary and this isnt the way a DR should keep his office.
He's a crook, Please tell me where and how to file a complaint Everyone in there was for laser hair removal, nothing else. Should have been my first red flag! I'm just so mad I got ripped off for $475!!! Please help... Thanks
