Saw an advertisement on TV for a nutraceutical called Altovis, used for treating fatigue naturally. Hah, ad stated free 30 day supply that shipping & handling chrgs only. So I went online and ordered, did not see anything about enrolling in a managed care program, for one I have NO medical insurance.
I figured if it worked I'd order more. Well my sister has recently came up with an anxiety disorder and Altovis indicates the main ingredient is caffeine. I decided to wait in case it was dangerous, and to this day I did not open the pkg. Ordered 4/20, on 5/20 I recieve a 2nd box with a 60 day supply, no bill enclosed, only a 5x7 card saying here is your automatic bi-monthly shipment as a member of Managed Care Direct??? WHAT?
Says I'll recieve a new shipment 5 days before I'm out. States my credit card will be billed for $70 on the day it's shipped, UNLESS I cancel before its shipped. Says I can discon't at anytime, however they cannot issue a refund once order has shipped! My * they can't!
It also say if you have recieved this shippment in error please call and Cust Care will be happy to asist. Is there any recourse to stop these people from falsly advertising something for free?
