I normally do not write reviews, but the one time I did, Yelp decides to omit my review. My review was on a company called Barbi Nails. I am a bargain hunter and when I see exceptional service, I like to share it. I do tend to check consumer reviews many times on the computer, but I will never trust nor use Yelp. When I went to see if my review was posted (two months after I wrote it), I noticed it was not. I then questioned Yelp and they stated my review was fake and bogus. My review was genuine and quite helpful. I have never been so highly insulted... Especially someone who does not know me. Yelp should have no dealings in the business world.
