I too feel totally ripped off by care credit, also known as ge capital credit card. I went to see a Dr Campbell in Bayfield Co on September 9. I told him I had had a root canel and had never gotten the crown he said i could go thru care credit for a financing plan. I told the dentist before he started the work that I had to leave colorado no later then the 23rd of September he said no problem.
He then proceeded to make the mold of the tooth and grind down the tooth. He also charged my credit card in full $589.00 before the work was finished. When I called the dentist he told me I never told him I had to leave on the 23rd that I said the 27th and basically he said we got your money tuff!!! I tried twice to dispute and was totally shut down by care credit. I ended paying them off because I didnt want to ruin my credit but I thought you dont charge someones credit card before the work is done, guess I was wrong. I would love to sue them at least for my money back If anyone else is interested. If there is a way i would love to know... Thank you
