Fair Oaks Hospital Dr. R Allen Blosser, Fair Oaks Hospital Denied appointment to my husband who is on H4 visa and do not have a SSN eventhough he has insurance properly covered - The receptionist behaved very rudly

I'm on H1 visa and work for as consultant for a major company. I have the premium PPO insurance coverage from United Health care in which my husband and daughter who is on H4 are also covered.

He had an appointment with Dr. R Allen Blosser today 05-May. The state of Va do not give SSN to non-working foreign nationals even though they are legally here. The recptionist at the hospital tiold that their contract with the insurance is that they cannot bill a patient who dod not have an SSN which the insurance agency totally denies. My husband had gone to various other doctors and he always had his bill paid by insurance.
But this receptionist told that she talked to the insurance agency and they confirmed her stand. She had closed the door when she said she was talking to the insurance company.

So we don't know what exactly she asked.
She was very rude. My husband contacted me as i was at work. I tried to talk to her. She is the rudest person I have ever seen in USA.

My husband had the insurance card which had his name properly mentioned and even he had his Driver's license,
None of these made any changes to her.
Later I talked to the biiling person for the hospital who also denied such a policy.
