In respinse to the other rip off report for Ladies Workout Express, I had the same kind of trouble. I became disabled during my membership, and was told it would not be a problem to cancel if you became disabled. What a joke. I had to pay my doctor to fill out papers, have the social security office write them a verification letter of my disability, and still did not get my membership cancled.
They kept trying to take it out of my account and then charged me bounce fees, and my bank charged me bounce fees, for something that wasn't even suppossed to be coming out of my account anyway. I had to threaten with a lawyer to get my membership cancelled and then when they finally did cancel it, they kept trying to take money out of my account for several months. I had to take all the paperwork I had gathered from workout express, to the bank, and had to pay the bank to do a stop-payment, not to include the charges of bounce fees I had to pay.
And then the dumb*sses had the balls to turn over the amount they said I owed, which I didn't because it was supposses to be easy to cancel if you became disabled, to a credit agency. Needless to say it cost me more to cancle my membership in the long run, than the membership itself.
However, after threatening with my lawyer again, they finally cleared the account. Only a super idiot would go to women's workout express! And never sign a contract with these dumb*sses, cause they will take everything they can! And to the idiot who debuttled the other complaint, we would all have been better off to grace "curves" with our presence rather than deal with what has turned out to be a line of idiots who work for women's workout express!!!
